Emerging Latin America Director Americas Regional Sales Group - Intel
Marcelo Bertolami is currently the Emerging Latin America Director, a division of the “Americas Regional Sales” business group. With more than 25 years’ experience in the industry within the Telecommunications and IT sector, Marcelo is in charge of developing strategies and programs in order to grow and strengthen the brand in the region, as well as of developing the company’s communication plans.
Before taking up this position, Marcelo served as Direct Sales and Channels Director for Latin America and was responsible for local manufacturers, channel integration, resellers and retail. Previously, he was in charge of the Consumer Division at Intel Latin America where he was responsible for the company’s marketing in Mexico and, before that, in the Southern Cone region where he managed the efforts in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Before he joined Intel, he worked in 2005 as Marketing Manager at Telecom Personal Paraguay. He also held until 2004 several positions at Telecom Argentina as Voice & Data Products Manager, Business Development Manager for the Business Solutions Unit, Process Support and Telecom Solutions Technology Manager, Computer Services Manager for the Major Clients Business Unit, Strategic Planning Senior Analyst for the Major Clients Business Unit, and Network Planning Senior Analyst for the Networks Business.
Marcelo Bertolami has also served as a professor for the Master’s Program in Telecommunications Management at Universidad de San Andrés – ITBA.
